Yee-haw!!

My good buddy Kellie and I went to the Stagecaoch Country Music Festival this past weekend with 40,000 other people and had a good time! I love country music and have for a long time. I just can't understand why people don't absolutely love it!? Kel and I were a little confused because as soon as the sun started going down the wind picked up and it got really chilly. Now we are smart women, but know nothing about how weather works and we thought to ourselves "Does the wind know to start blowing as soon as the sun goes down!? "We camped out in a tent, we went to bed cold and woke up in a sauna...strange. My favorite performers were Kid Rock, Brad Paisley, Reba and Zac Brown Band. It's always fun to see music you love live even though it sounds just like the cd for the most part. There were many "Cowboys" walking around w/o their shirts, gotta love cowboys! There is just something about a man in a cowboy hat...my friend Julie sent me a link to her friend's pictures from stagecoach and they consisted on 14 pictures on "Hot Cowboys", I should have thought to do that! Oh well, next year...

Kellie and I tend to be rebels at times....we "found" a pool to hangout at for a while to cool down until the big performers came on stage... It's a tough life.

5/7 DONE!

I just finished my 5th term in PT school and I really can't believe how fast time flies! I know I say that a lot, but I seriously can't! I feel like I just started the program and I only have 2 more semesters left! I start my pediatric internship on May 4th and I am really looking forward to it...but in the mean time I am planning on enjoying the time off, starting with yesterday...

I surfed for the first time in 5 1/2 years and I forgot how fun it was! I hope to go many more times this summer! It is still very scary, but with a little more practice it won't be so intimidating...have I mentioned that I absolutely love living in San Diego?!? I just wish I lived closer to the beach, I live ~20 miles away which is not that big of a deal but I would love to live walking distance, maybe one day...

Reminder of why you shouldn't litter!

When I showed up to school on Friday for a final, this skunk was running around in the parking lot...his head was stuck in a yogurt cup that someone had obviously littered. One of my classmate bravely tried to pull it off it's head but it was really stuck on there....while animal control was being called, another brave student tried to pull it off again and this time was successful but had to actually lift the skunk off the ground and the skunk fell out of the cup. This was just reminder of why it is so important not to litter! Luckily no one was sprayed....and it did make for an interesting morning!

What happen to these months??!!?? I can't believe that I am 2 weeks and 2 days away from finishing my 5th semester in PT school!! Just nuts! I will be doing an internship May-June in Pediatrics in San Diego and another in orthopedics during July and Aug in Dallas...looking forward to it! But seriously can't believe it is April already!!! I will finally have time to blog again in two weeks...until then.
